Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Bucharest

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of forwarding companies, executing strategic sales plans.
  • Identify customer needs, create tailored solutions, and follow up to drive success.
  • Develop data-driven insights to understand and steer account performance.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop the best solutions and create long-term value.
  • Use your skills and passion for closing new business while maintaining existing relationships.
  • Support clients in their digital transformation and collaborate with software providers for integrated solutions.
  • Stay on top of market trends and technologies to fuel the growth of our platform.
  • Leverage multiple databases to provide reports that measure effectiveness and cost savings.

 

What Makes You Stand Out

  • You’re fluent in Romanian/Hungarian and English.
  • You bring at least 5 years of experience, ideally in logistics/transportation or software/IT solutions.
  • You have experience working with large and medium-sized companies across all management levels.
  • You are familiar with sales methodologies like CCS and ABC.
  • You are proficient in CRM systems and lead management.
  • You love hunting for new business (about 70% of the role).
  • You’re quick to grasp new ideas, open-minded, and goal-oriented.
  • You enjoy building networks and working closely with customers and teams to achieve success together.
  • You have strong presentation, communication, and value-selling skills.
  • You’re analytical and organized, with a willingness to travel across your sales region (50-60% of the time).
