We are looking for an individual with SRE/DevOps experience who can ensure the stability, performance, and security of our infrastructure. It is essential that you feel comfortable in cloud environments, monitoring, incident response, automation, and optimization, and that you enjoy troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
You will join the team responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of Trans.eu systems through an engineering-driven approach to operational challenges. The team balances operational excellence with cost efficiency, working daily with Platform Engineering, development teams, and other stakeholders.
Define and maintain SLIs/SLOs for critical services and manage incidents, providing root cause analysis (RCA).
Collaborate with other teams on monitoring systems, alerting, and Cloud cost optimization.
Conduct benchmarking, define scaling strategies, and perform load testing for critical changes.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing, and support infrastructure hardening.
Perform pre-deployment readiness checks to validate applications before production rollout.
Ability to design and operate monitoring and alerting systems.
Proficiency with log analysis tools and retention policy management.
Strong understanding and practical application of SLI/SLO processes, error budgets, RCA, and postmortems.
Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure management/automation tools.
Ability to plan and optimize infrastructure performance, including benchmarking, load testing, capacity planning, and autoscaling.
Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed environments and the ability to respond efficiently to incidents.
Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps tools, practices, and infrastructure automation.
Scripting and tooling automation skills using Bash and Python.
Bonus Points For:
Certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS).
