Data Architect

We are looking for an expert to join the Data Architects Team and take responsibility for designing a logical data model that supports our organization’s decision-making processes. Your primary goal will be to optimize ETL/ELT processes, which will directly translate into the maximum performance and consistency of our analytical ecosystem. By utilizing the Snowflake environment and SQL, you will become a bridge between the business world and technology, shaping a modern data architecture. 

As a key member of the Data Architects Team, you will collaborate closely with talented engineers and business leaders to drive our data strategy forward. Your role is inherently cross-functional, giving you the autonomy to design innovative data models that directly support critical decision-making across the organization. • Analyzing business requirements and transforming them into technical solutions that develop our data model.

• Managing logical models that reflect information structure and effectively support business operations.

• Designing and continuously optimizing ETL/ELT processes to guarantee their highest performance and reliability.

• Modeling business events and creating relational database structures optimized for data flow.

• Identifying and implementing new technological solutions that improve the information management area.

• Creating and updating clear architectural documentation to ensure compliance and ease of system maintenance.

Experience:

• Experience in designing and implementing data models.

• Experience in designing ETL/ELT data processing and database structures.

• Experience in preparing architectural designs in the field of data modeling.

• Experience working with the Snowflake environment and large datasets.

• Knowledge of data warehouse architectures and data modeling tools.

Languages:

• Polish.

• English at a minimum B2 level.

Knowledge of tools:

• Snowflake environment (Snowflake Badge 1-6 and Snowflake Certificate Pro are a plus).

• SQL, Python, Jinja, Snowpark.

• Tools: DBT, Dagster, Airbyte.

• GitLab repository or similar.

Soft skills:

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with engineers and business stakeholders.

• Ability to translate complex issues into simple and understandable technical and business language.
